The Sensory Skills module teaches how to approach the sensory evaluation of coffee in a practical and interactive, investigating the way we perceive what we taste or smell it and how to apply these skills when evaluating the characteristics of a coffee. It also provides an overview of how to identify a specialty coffee.
Foundation: a course designed to learn the basics of the sensory evaluation of coffee, which consists of both a part of practical exercises and a theoretical part focused on the world of taste and aroma. Designed to learn to perceive the different tasting notes in a dynamic and interactive way, it provides the key information to take the basic exam of the SCA Sensory Skills module.
As director of the Bazzara Academy, Marco specializes in sensory analysis. In addition to having obtained the AST Specialty Coffee Association License for all the modules of the Coffee Skills Program, he has in fact deepened what concerns sensorial practice, together with distinguished experts of international fame; Wine Sommelier, Idrosommelier, Tea Sommelier and Tea Trader, Espresso and Coffee Sommelier, Honey Taster, Chocolate Taster, Grappa and brandy taster.
