The Sensory Skills module teaches how to approach the sensory evaluation of coffee in a practical and interactive, investigating the way we perceive what we taste or smell it and how to apply these skills when evaluating the characteristics of a coffee. It also provides an overview of how to identify a specialty coffee.


Intermediate: This module focuses on three main topics: the deepening of sensory analysis characteristics, organizing a cupping session and the application of these concepts to professional coffee. To better follow the course, it is advisable to already have experience in the coffee sector. The course provides all the information necessary to face the intermediate exam of the SCA Sensory Skills module.

Sensory project manager and Academy Director of the Bazzara Academy, with a degree in Economics and a Master in "Training and Didactics", in the company he deals with quality control, selection and blending of coffee, as well as designing training systems covering the position of Q Arabica Grader and Authorized SCA Trainer (AST)
