From South Korea visiting the <\/span>Bazzara<\/span> Academy to discover all the secrets of coffee with Marco and Franco <\/span>Bazzara<\/span>: two journalists from the <\/span>Busan<\/span> Ilbo<\/span> \u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/www.busan.com\/view\/busan\/view.php?code=2023072418332233416<\/span><\/a>)<\/span>, one of the most renowned newspapers in the Asian country, recently visited the city for a full immersion in the “Trieste city of coffee” to discover the most interesting news regarding the birth of the event organized by <\/span>Bazzara<\/span> which brings together important national and international personalities<\/span>, the \u201ccoffee experts\u201d,<\/span> to discuss and reflect on the future of the sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

J<\/span>ournalist Young Mi interviewed Franco <\/span>Bazzara<\/span>, President of the roasting company<\/span> from Trieste<\/span>, who had the pleasure of talking about the idea, the birth of the project, its supporters, making<\/span> an excursus as well<\/span> on the important<\/span> company<\/span> history and 50 years in the coffee <\/span>industry<\/span> of the roasting <\/span>firm, <\/span>with the family passion handed down <\/span>from generation to generation<\/span>. The journalists, who came to Trieste to find out what events are linked to the world of coffee and are organized in the city, thus discovered the engine and heart that animates the Trieste Coffee Experts <\/span>by<\/span>Bazzara<\/span>, a biennial event entirely dedicated to the future of the <\/span>\u201c<\/span>black elixir<\/span>\u201d<\/span> and which this year will be held in the city <\/span>of Trieste <\/span>on November 25<\/span>th<\/span>and 26<\/span>th<\/span>, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

A visit that certainly has a reason, a common vision<\/span>,<\/span> and objectives. Indeed, the city of <\/span>Busan<\/span> is taking important steps towards becoming a global coffee city. The launch of the Coffee City <\/span>Busan<\/span>Forum was important, a project of great significance that is preparing to host major coffee events, including the National Barista Contest. The <\/span>Busan<\/span> Coffee City Forum’s efforts are instrumental in making <\/span>Busan<\/span> a perfect <\/span>city for <\/span>coffee, comparable to global coffee cities such as Seattle, Vienna, <\/span>Melbourne and Trieste<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A collaboration born between the city of <\/span>Busan<\/span>, the <\/span>Busan<\/span> City Council, the <\/span>Busan<\/span> Daily and the coffee industry who have agreed to promote sustainable growth and create an ecosystem for the coffee industry in the city of <\/span>Busan<\/span>. About 60 experts from each division, focusing on a total of 7 divisions, including technology and research and development (R&D), subsidiary equipment and materials, manpower training, branding, tourism, logistics and culture, hold meetings twice a year to develop <\/span>Busan<\/span> in this industry<\/span>. In addition, the city of <\/span>Busan<\/span> has joined the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) to promote the “Sustainable Coffee City <\/span>Busan<\/span>” brand and grow the industry globally, striving to establish the right culture for the emergence of the coffee industry. In fact, <\/span>Busan<\/span> is carrying out various projects to make <\/span>Busan<\/span> a “sustainable coffee city”. As a representative example, <\/span>Busan<\/span> Technopark<\/span> is building a “green bean library platform” which scientifically <\/span>analyses green beans<\/span> to obtain objective taste data.<\/span><\/p>\n

The visit of the journalists <\/span>at <\/span>Bazzara<\/span> was a very welcome<\/span>d<\/span> surprise that underlines the most significant characteristic of the roasting company,<\/span> i.e., staying together<\/span> to create culture and “network” in the world of coffee, aware that it is essential to merge energies for <\/span>commonsuccess<\/span>. Furthermore, for <\/span>Busan<\/span> “Global City of Coffee”, the Trieste Coffee Experts is an excellent example to follow, this year’s event will in fact have as its main theme the future of coffee oriented towards innovation and sustainability. Entitled “Innovation & Sustainability Oriented”,<\/span> this year\u2019s edition of Trieste Coffee Experts will feature<\/span> important <\/span>speeches<\/span> concern<\/span>ing<\/span> the culture, innovation and digital transition of coffee. Finally, the constant commitment of the Trieste-based company should not be forgotten, which has embarked on a real path of awareness and responsibility aimed at generating new stimuli for the future with a constant eye on the UN Agenda for sustainable development.<\/span><\/p>\n
